How to Take Your Photo
It is important that you follow these instructions, otherwise, we won’t be able to produce a final photo with the required sizes and resolution.
Remember to take the photo in a well-lit environment, and avoid any shades on your face.
If you don’t send a correct image your passport application might get rejected, even if it is a passport renewal.
Ask a friend
Ask someone to take a photo of you from 4 feet away. Do not send selfies.
Straight Position
Look straight into the camera. Make sure your body is straight.
No Accessories
Don’t wear hats or eyeglasses or anything that covers your face

Our team of graphic designers will work on:

Physical Prints
And if you order physical prints, we will print your photo on a professional state-of-the-art photo printer using the best glossy photo paper.
Physical photos will be sent via USPS First Class mail.

How to attach the photo to your passport application
You will need to attach a photo on your passport application form, both for new passports as well as for passport renewals.
Attach one photograph to the application.
Please note:
- Staple the photo to the application. Please use 4 staples vertically in the corners as close to the outer edges as possible. See the example above.
- Do not bend the photo.
- You cannot wear eyeglasses in your passport photo (unless you have a signed note from your doctor that you can include with your application).
